I worked on the Legs and Gawin Worked on the Jaw. We completed  the Eyes.

Conclusion

For the 2013 EISM Tech Fair Me and my partner Gawin will be making the LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 Robogator, Just because the laser's would be to difficult, and the Robogator seems eaisier and a better project for less trouble.

List Of Hardware And Software And Other Material Used In My Project

Laser Show: One of the reasons we're probably not going to do this project because we arent sure what softwares to use to program Laser shows

Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 Robogator: All the hardware and software comes with the Mindstorms NXT 2.0 Set so I wont have to worry about that. and all the material for the robot comes with the set.

Advantages And Disadvantages Of My Ideas

Laser Show:
Advantages: If made correctly will look very good during Tech Fair
Disadvantages: We are not very experienced in programming and programming a laser show would take alot of time and will  be quite hard
Lasers that we want to use are illegal in the UAE

Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 Robogator:
Advantages: we found sites with full instuctions and sites with all programming for this product soo assembling and programming will be quite easy
Disadvantages: Since we only thought of the Lego Robot not so long ago and we're only gonna start making it on the 4th, there is a slight possibility it wont be completed

Criterion: A Investigate My Two Basic Ideas (NEW AND IMPROVED)

Me and Gawin were obsessing over making a robot product but our old two ideas which were a hexapod robot and a robot arm didn’t work out unfortunately the hexapod was extremely expensive and the company making the robot arms don’t ship out of the U.S. But last week we came up with doing a laser show. This is our first idea, the Advantage is it would look very pretty if it’s done right but a HUGE disadvantage had to program the whole thing which would be difficult and hard. Our Second Idea which we are defiantly going to make is a Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 Robogator the advantage is there are parts and instructions in making it and you have to program it and we found all the programs online the only disadvantage is we can only start tomorrow (4/3/13) and have to present on next Sunday (10/3/13)
